On Monday, May 19, 2014 at 7:30 PM,  LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts  will present its second annual LaGuardia Arts Hall of Fame Award to legendary singer, songwriter, humanitarian, and LaGuardia alumnus, Mr. Peter Yarrow.  Yes, that Peter Yarrow - of Peter, Paul and Mary - whose music is the soundtrack of a generation and who will be in ourconcert hall to be honored and to perform - maybe even your favorite song (is it "Puff, the Magic Dragon", "If I Had a Hammer", "Light One Candle"... the list goes on and on.) 

JOIN US on May 19, 2014, as we honor alum Mr.  Yarrow with song, dance,  and our LaGuardia Arts Hall of Fame Award.     Tickets go on sale on March 31, 2014.

The LaGala2014 is now open and will run from March 16, 2014 to March 30, 2014, with proceeds going to LaGuardia Arts High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts:  a NYC public  high school located in Manhattan.

Together with its rigorous academic program, LaGuardia prepares our high school students for professional careers and conservatory study in dance, drama, the visual arts, vocal, instrumental music, and technical theatre.

All proceeds from our Auction go directly to programs and materials for our students, including:

• grants for our academic departments and artistic studios
• funding for the college office
• after-school enrichment
• technology
• sponsorship of Rising Stars - an unparalleled school-wide talent  showcase
• sports equipment  and more.
