Description

This sculpture appropriately named Curly, is made of plaster over wire armature. It is 21" high x25" wide x 18" deep. 

About the artist -  Sam Pepperman

Born in Montreal in 1915 and at age 7, his family moved to the United States, settling in Brooklyn, NY. He attended college, served during World War II, married and raised a family.

He showed in many galleries in New York City (including one-man shows at Ligoa Duncan on Madison Avenue and Wolcott Fields on 5th Avenue) as well as closer to home in Rockland County. He was a devoted member of the Rockland County Association of Craftsmen and Artists.
