A virtual trip to Brazil for Rhythm Foundation members to welcome another wonderful season of music, coinciding with the Grand Opening of Perez Art Museum Miami's (PAMM) new exhibition, Beatriz Milhazes: Jardim Botântico.

Rhythm Foundation Members will enjoy exclusive free access to the museum exhibition and our private event on the PAMM terrace at the opening. The party will feature a private viewing of the new exhibition, a complimentary bar with Heineken and Leblon caipirinhas, light bites from PAMM's wonderful Stephen Starr Caterers, and an amazing silent auction.

This special night features the Miami debut of Alma Tropicalia, a DC-based band that reimagines the psych-samba sounds of 60's Tropicália music from Brazil. Their mind-bending mix of tropical rhythms, soulful funk grooves and day-glo psychedelia have quickly earned the group ecstatic reviews and packed performances across the region. The lineup combines jazz vocalist Elin (featured on Thievery Corporation's Brazil-inspired album “Saudade”) with the unhinged experimentation of some of the top backing musicians in today's rock and world music scene. Between sets enjoy Brazilian grooves from DJ Marcello Bentine.
