Opened January 2013 by LDV Hospitality, Miami Herald-awarded three-star Dolce Italian is an inviting cafe and restaurant.

Located in the newly renovated Gale South Beach, Dolce Italian welcomes guests with classic handcrafted Italian cocktails at a lively bar, and cuisine that is authentic, delicious and surprisingly affordable. Linger over a Negroni or Bellini while sharing a freshly-fired pizza from the wood-burning oven or enjoy a platter of delicious artisanal cured meats including housemade pate.

Upstairs, the dining room is simple and modern, with wood-paneled walls, crisp white linens on the tables and tufted leather banquettes. A mozzarella bar takes center stage, featuring freshly made to order platters, while Italian-born executive chef Paolo Dorigato’s menu of updated Italian classics includes perfectly made pastas such as the Pappardelle alla Bolognese, brimming with braised beef, veal and pork, a rich seafood risotto loaded with shrimp, scallops and calamari and a simply sublime spaghetti al Pomodoro. Main plates include lemony roasted branzino, succulent roasted chicken and veal Milanese served with arugula salad and Tuscan fries.
