The name comes from the Spanish word ‘Evocar’, which translates ‘to evoke’. He has always tried to raise awareness to social and global issues with the hopes of evoking some kind of emotion in people through his work and humanitarian outreach. Evoca1 is currently living and working in Miami, where he continues to develop his craft and tours across the world sharing his art though his murals. To date he’s completed murals in Peru, Dominican Republic, Vienna, Canada, Rio and multiple countries in Europe. Most recently Evoca1 has been featured in Street Art News, Complex Magazine and Juxtapoz Magazine as one of the top emerging artists in the street art world.
