The purpose of the Conch Scramble is to organize golf 'on the water' tournaments to raise funds for charities that enhance the lives of Upper Keys charitable organizations.

Each year our Board requests applications from organizations that wish to be considered recipients of a grant. The Conch Scramble Board selects two charities to be the recipients of the money raised. The Board's decision is based upon application materials and organizational need.

The Upper Keys Foundation, Inc is a local 501(c)(3) whose mission is to secure a solution to the Monroe County School Board eliminating ALL athletic appropriations.  All funds raised will be used to save and preserve the athletic programs and facilities at Coral Shores High School, to infuse the athletic programs with the financial resources and leadership to create model athletic programs and facilities, to design a “revolutionary service program” for the athletic  administrators, coaches and student-athletes to serve the community by using their time and their energy to give back to the other causes in need, thus making “Serve to Play” and “Circular Giving” a new mantra for high school athletes throughout the nation.  

The Plantation Key School PTA sets yearly goals that promote the welfare and education of children while taking into account current school needs. Our goal is to fund academic support programs, after school athletics and activities as well as incentives and professional development that is not supported by the school budget.
