Captain Mark Hlis has a strong passion for sight fishing the flats and backcountry. He has considerable knowledge and experience of the Florida Keys and can take you to where the fish are. He chooses to use only the best equipment; his boat is a Hells Bay Professional 17.8 Professional.

Captain Mark Hlis is a 2nd generation native of Miami and has been fishing South Florida and the Keys since the age of 6. As a teen he won the South Florida Met Tournament “Afoot Trophy Award” by catching a monster snook without the use of a boat.

Today Mark’s passion is fishing the Florida Keys flats and the backcountry for tarpon, bonefish, permit, snook, redfish, and sharks.
