Born in Miami, Capt Ken Knudsen picked his parents well.

They took him fishing in the Keys. In 1961, his family built the Kon Tiki Resort in Islamorada where at age 12 Ken started his backcountry career for bonefish, snook and redfish. During his early teen years, he was influenced by legendary guides Capt. Bill Smith and Capt. Earl Gentry.

Capt Ken has perfected the art of the tarpon bite down to a science. These hard fighting and exciting jumpers offers a reel thrill  experience with the timeless action of the sunset backgrounds that the Keys are famous for.
