Capers began on a dare. RPDS had a need and two passionate parents who wanted to fill that need said, “We’ll plan a party and raise the money needed.”

Fast forward 27 years and Capers has become the signature fundraising event for RPDS.

Throughout its long history Capers has been an event-based dinner and auction; however, new for the 2014-15 school year, Capers is getting a 21st Century makeover!

Just as RPDS has grown and changed over its 65-year history to include new facilities, cutting-edge technology and innovative academic curricula, so too, must the school's fundraising efforts be updated to remain relevant to contemporary families.

Capers will still be an auction fundraiser and will take place here, at www.biddingforgood.com/capers over a two-week period.

Auction Week 1: November 3-9

• Home & The Holidays (auction closes 11/9 at 7:00 p.m.)
• Health & Beauty (auction closes 11/9 at 8:00 p.m.)
• Grade Level Baskets (auction closes 11/9 at 9:00 p.m.)
• Just for Children (auction closes 11/9 at 10:00 p.m.)

Auction Week 2: November 10-16

• Last Minute Additions (auction closes 11/16 at 7:00 p.m.)
• Dining, Sports & Entertainment (auction closes 11/16 at 8:00 p.m.)
• Trips & Adventures (auction closes 11/16 at 9:00 p.m.)
• Made By Our Children (auction closes 11/16 at 10:00 p.m.)

Online auctions are extremely successful for fundraising and RPDS is excited to be able to limit expenses and maximize the auction proceeds for mission-related programs and activities.  Plus, with the holiday season right around the corner, Capers Online is a great way to tackle your holiday gift list from the comfort of your home and when it's convenient for you!
