From Kimberely's Rugs (www.kimberlysrugs.com) is this beautiful saddle bag. Its origin as a bag is unknown. It appears to have been made out of an old rug (handmade wool pile) and is backed by a rainbow colored piece of flat weave fabric.  It is 1'10" wide and 3' 10" long - plenty of room to work as an eye catching saddle bag in a traditional constume class.

Since it is vintage (usally meaning over 25 years old) there are a few imperfections. The flat weave fabric has 4 1/4" holes in it. But they could be repaired easily and are not noticable if looking at it from the saddle bag side.

All in all a beautiful piece of history.

A word about color. We've all heard that depending on how your monitor is set you might see a slightly different color than the real thing. In this case you might notice that the "bottom" part of the bad looks pinker than the the top. The degree may be different on your compuer, but there is some difference in the actual piece that helps make it novel.
