Tara Kolesar LAMP is licensed and certified to practice equine massage by the Washington State Department of Health and the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage.


Tara began working with horses at nine years old.  She continued to develop a strong foundation in many equine disciplines in Delaware Valley College’s (DVC’s) four-year degree program, where she graduated summa cum laude with Bachelors of Science degrees in Equine Studies and Business.  Tara excelled at DVC, winning the college’s most prestigious Founder’s Day Award, which is awarded to one outstanding student each year. 


Tara focused her studies on equine health, anatomy, and massage therapy.  She studied under Tara Miliziano-Crowley and served as a Teaching Assistant for DVC’s Equine Massage course. 


After graduating from DVC, Tara moved to Redmond, WA, continuing her training and education by studying Large Animal Massage at the Northwest School of Animal Massage.  Now, Tara is owner and therapist (LAMP) of Back in Stride Equine Massage Therapy and is looking forward to meeting new clients throughout the Puget Sound and Eastside.  Our service area includes but is not limited to:  Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Woodinville, Duval, Carnation, Bothell, Seattle, Fall City, and Sammamish.
