2012 Rombauer Vineyards Zinfandel

This 2012 vintage delivers classic Rombauer Zinfandel. The weight and dimension are immediately apparent by the dark purplish-ruby color. Ripe boysenberry, clove, black pepper and hints of raspberry aromas perfume from the glass. Plush and velvety flavors of dark berry fruits and vanilla flood the palate. A lengthy finish lingers for several minutes.

2012 Fiddletown Cellars Old Vine Zinfandel

Aged in a 50% French Oak & 50% American Oak for 16 months. Grown in one of the smallest American Viticultural Areas in the United States (~12,000 acres), Fiddletown sits at a slightly higher elevation (~1700 ft) than most of Amador County allowing for a longer growing season. With cooler days and nights, the fruit is almost always the last in the County to be picked off the vine. Our Old Vine Zinfandel is exemplary of what Fiddletown fruit has to offer. With fresh raspberry, plum and black berry aromas, the wine is succulent and smooth but retains vibrant acidity making it very food friendly which is commonly atypical for this varietal. Bold flavors of blackberry jam and black cherries dominate while layers of sweet oak and vanilla carry through the finish compelling the drinker to have another sip. Pair with Filet Mignon and garlic sautéed mushrooms for an unforgettable meal.

2006 Line Shack Zinfandel

Tasting Notes - Dark Cherry flavors with dried orange peel and nutmeg with a brambly earthy finish. Elegant in style with smooth tannins. 90% Zinfandel and 10% Syrah. Barrel aged for 24 months in 20% new American oak.

Pairing Recommendation - Pairs nicely with grilled salmon roasted pork and Peking duck.
