2012 Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2012 growing season proved to be excellent from start to finish in Napa Valley. The 2012 vintage marks the fortieth Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon release from Joseph Phelps Vineyards. This latest bottling highlights beautiful aromatics of dark fruit, cigar box, dried herbs, graphite notes and pain grillé. Expressive Bing cherry, licorice, blueberry and blackberry layer this silky smooth wine of great depth and personality. Richly nuanced with supple tannins and a lingering velvety finish.

2010 Clos Du Val Winemaker's Cabernet Franc

Clos Du Val — a translation for the French phrase “small vineyard estate of a small valley.”

Winemaker’s Signature Series — Highly limited and truly unique, each wine bears the artistic signature of its maker and offers a gentle nod to the graceful elegance and independent nature of Clos Du Val. Liberated of any constraints, our winemakers are free to explore their individual aesthetics and create wines born from their imagination, crafted with love and curiosity.

2011 Acacia Vineyard Winery Lake Pinot Noir

With its yin-yang personality, the 2011 Winery Lake Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir combines masculine intensity with an elegant, sensual palate. Selected entirely from Block No. 10 in Winery Lake Vineyard Estate, the 2011 Pinot Noir clearly demonstrates why these vines are Winemaker Matthew Glynn’s favorites. This slope’s exceptional sun exposure gives the wine its seductive lure of opulent black cherry and Burgundy plum, with a rose-violet perfume. Complex mineral nuances from terroir interplay with a racy hint of smokiness and spice from French oak barrels.

2008 32 Winds Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2008 Cabernet is a single vineyard wine that comes from the unique Diamond Mountain are in Napa. The vineyard is over 30 years old and consequently produces a lower volume of high quality, powerfully intense fruit. The grapes were hand-harvested in the middle of october, de-stemmed and transferred to closed-top fermenters, where the skins and juice remained in contact for an extended maceration. The juice was then pressed off an moved directly to Taransaud French oak barrels, 75% of which were new, and aged for 21 months. The 2008 Cabernet demonstrates flavors and aromas of black cherries, espresso, black currants, cassis and dark cocoa. It has well integrated tannins, a great mineral backbone and bright acidity.

2006 Bennett Lane Winery Maximus Red Feasting Wine

The Napa Valley, best known for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, also produces some of the finest red blends available. An homage to the Roman Emperor Magnus Maximus, Bennett Lane Winery’s 2006 Maximus is a wine fit for roman nobility – and for you!

Taste – This wine is boldly dark and very flavorful, leading with dark blackberry, blueberry, strawberry and black cherry. After a moment, cedar, dark chocolate dust, cherry, dried rose petals and spice also appear.

Finish – Dark and flavorful, with pronounced dark mixed berry and flinty spice. As these taper off, soft leather and mineral-driven cocoa powder show up and then gradually fade away.
