Through our eighth annual No Show Ball Online Auction, we are raising some of the funds necessary to keep our doors open for families who must travel to Charleston for their child's medical treatment  Instead of throwing an expensive event, we want to invite people to stay in while still supporting our families!

Last year, we were able to help 806 families who traveled to Charleston for their child’s medical treatment.  In 2015, The Ronald McDonald House was able to complete an expansion with 5 new bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully renovated kitchen, a kitchenette and computer area.  With your support we are able to keep our doors open for our 32 families each and every night.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston is a 32 bedroom, home away from home, for families who have children in intensive care units in nearby hospitals. Here, parents and children lead a life as normal as possible during their traumatic times without the financial burden of costly hotel and travel expenses.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room at MUSC provides a sanctuary within
the walls of the hospital where family members can rest, read, shower,
have a snack or a cup of coffee while still being only minutes away from
their seriously ill child.

RMHC Charleston has helped more than 50,000 moms, dads, brothers
and sisters over the past 32 years here in Charleston, SC. A majority of
our families come from South Carolina, but we have served families
from all 50 states and 13 different countries. Families must live at least
40 miles away from the House to be considered for a bedroom with a
child 18 years or younger in critical condition.
