C & W is a no kill, cage-free, non profit (Federal ID# 42-1456194) special needs feline sanctuary and our mission is: to promote community awareness on the humane treatment of all animals and the importance of altering all companion animals, strays, ferals and barn cats; to be part of controlling the populations in our communities through our one-site subsidized spay/neuter bi-monthly clinics, partnering with the area Spay Neuter Assistance Program (S.N.A.P.) -working together towards the goal of “No More Homeless Pets in Northeast Iowa.; partner with humane societies/animal welfare organizations all across Iowa and the U.S. to help rehabilitate and re-home and/or provide a life care, cage free home to felines deemed ‘adoption challenged’ or ‘un-adoptable’ at their facilities. (We have felines from 32 states); To provide habitat/woodlands for rehabilitated wildlife and raptors on our 90 acres of conservation reserve/woodlands on our property.
