Art with Heart is fund-tastic benefit for furry friends at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia to be held February 18, 2017!

Art with Heart is an art auction fundraiser benefiting the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA). Started in 2010, to date, the event has raised more than $150,000 to support HSNEGA's efforts to rescue and rehome companion animals from throughout our community.

Art with Heart 2017 will include both an online auction and a live event (with silent and live auction) so all of our supporters can get in on the auction action!

ONLINE AUCTION: The Art with Heart Online Auction will be held Friday, February 10 at 8 a.m. through Monday, February 13 at 8 p.m. The online auction will feature exclusive art chosen specifically for the online event. Whether you are attending the live event and want to get in "bidding practice," or you cannot attend but want to support HSNEGA, the online auction is a great opportunity to win some wonderful items while supporting homeless animals.

LIVE EVENT: HSNEGA will be hosting Art with Heart 2017 Saturday, February 18, from 7-11 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville, located on Club Drive off Thompson Bridge Road. The event features a live and silent auction of pieces ranging from fine to folk art and pottery to photography. The 2017 signature piece, entitled "Coming Home," was created exclusively for the event by renowned artist Dennis Campay and will be available in the live auction. Other special highlights for 2017 include portraits of some of HSNEGA’s top rescues from 2016 painted by local and regional artists; local artist Amanda Carder painting live at the event; “experience” packages including a NASCAR driving day and Kentucky bourbon-tasting trip; and more. 

More than 70 artists and 200+ pieces of artwork were featured at Art with Heart 2016 including Amanda Lovett, Pat Burd, Alice Paris, Janet Cornett, Steve Meadows, Lydia Ferguson, Steve Penley, Marian Baker, Dana LeBlanc, Alice Paris, Frank Norton Jr., and Kathy Wolfe, just to name a few.

PLEASE NOTE: Once an item has reached the highest bid/last line in the silent auction it will automatically be moved to the live auction. Addtionally, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS." NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. DESCRIPTIONS ARE AS ACCURATE AS INFORMATION MADE KNOWN TO HSNEGA. ITEMS NOT CLAIMED THE NIGHT OF EVENT ARE "PICK UP ONLY" AT HSNEGA. NO SHIPPING. ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP BY APRIL 1, 2017. AFTER THIS DATE, THE ITEM WILL BECOME PROPERTY OF HSNEGA.

Tickets for Art with Heart are $55 per person or $100 per couple through midnight Wednesday, February 15 or until sold out. Ticket price includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary wine bar sponsored by Barefoot Bubbly & Wine. A limited number of tickets are available. If available, tickets at the door will be $65 per person with no couple pricing.
