Since its opening in July of 2006, Miyake has offered exceptional quality Japanese food to the Portland community. Rooted in the Japanese 'Washoku' style, Miyake's menus draw on the seasons, the abundance of local seafood and vegetables, and heritage-breed animals raised on owner Masa Miyake's farm. 

Dinner at Miyake features both an omakase chef's tasting menu and a 4-course tasting menu, which allows diners to choose courses from several options. The full menu is also available a la carte, and includes a large selection of sashimi and nigiri. Miyake offers an extensive selection of sake, chosen from our in-house kikisakeshi (sake sommelier) as well as a full selection of wine and beer. The sake pairing offered with the chef's tasking menu is a great way to experience the many different styles and flavors of sake.
