2018 AGO Silent Auction
2018 AGO Silent Auction
The 2018 AGO Silent Auction will run from June 25-July 9, 2018. This very special biennial event, the only one of its kind designed specifically for the international community of organists, is held in even-numbered years in conjunction with our national convention. Its purpose is to raise money for our Annual Fund which supports all of the AGO’s educational programs including the development of new online resources for organists.
Auction Items
More than 150 unique items can be found in this auction, including published music, books and recordings; organ pipes and pipe organ accessories; new music commissions, recitals, and masterclasses; private tours of the Wanamaker and Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall Organs (the largest pipe organs in the world!) along with tours and console time at West Point Cadet Chapel and at The Riverside Church in New York. In addition, we have an impressive roster of organ teachers each of whom has agreed to donate a two-hour lesson including David Higgs, Nathan Laube, Todd Wilson, Tom Trenney, Martin Jean, Paul Jacobs, Cherry Rhodes with Ladd Thomas, and Olivier Latry (in Paris!). We also have impressive sets of symphony orchestra tickets, hotel packages, and restaurant certificates.
Please help us promote this exciting and worthy cause by sharing it with your friends, family, and colleagues. All proceeds will support the AGO's educational programs, so please be generous. Let the bidding begin!
