Description
Architectural/Historic walking tour of Downtown Chicago given by AGO Great Lakes Regional Councillor, Karl Bruhn, an experienced and certified Chicago Architecture Foundation volunteer and tour leader. The tour will be for up to five people and will include learning about ChicagoĆs architecture and history beginning before the Great Chicago Fire (1871) and will go up through the art deco era and end with the most modern buildings and parks, Millennium Park and newer. Tour will last between two and five hours, depending on how much time you have! It will include lunch in the Walnut Room at the old Marshall Fields building in the Loop (or elsewhereóyour choice!). Karl will meet you at any train station (Union Station or any other) or elsewhere. Bring your walking shoes!
