Welcome to the MPAK fundraising gala auction site.
While our Gala is on November 2, 2019, we will start the online auction a week ahead on October 26, 2019.
MPAK will be auctioning off a number of unique and fun items to bid on to raise money to support the 'Children of the North'. The more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.
Keynote Speaker Connie Chung
Come and listen to a dramatic and moving story of Connie Chung, whose parents are from North Korea. Her early life was filled with challenges and hardship, and she became homeless. However, with the help of a few loving people, she went on to Berkely and later obtaining a doctorate degree from Harvard. Here Connie is with her husband Sean and the baby Isabella.
Special Performance by Mr. Youngbum Jeong on Bipa.
MPAK is 20 years old this year. Youngbum was adopted by an MPAK family 20 years ago as a 9 years old boy. Now he is a nationally recognized bipa (Korean mandolin) performer. Youngbum and MPAK grew up together. Having Youngbum come and perform at our gala has a very significant meaning.
Youngbum plays with a K-Pop group called 'Girl's Day' on the show Star King in Korea.

And our Most Talented and Esteemed Emcee Jinah Kim will lead us with the Gala flow and the fundraising event. MPAK is very grateful for her yearly support at our Gala.
