Welcome to the BENCHS Online Auction!
"Our mission, BENCHS fans, which we have decided to accept, is to host our silent auction even though COVID-19 cancelled our wine & beer tasting event in April."
The auction will run from June 15, 2020 to June 25, 2020, with proceeds going to BENCHS in order to support finding loving forever homes for lost, abandoned and neglected animals.
Help us reach our goal of $12,000! All proceeds will benefit the cats and dogs at BENCHS who are waiting to find their furrrrever families.

The Blue Earth Nicollet County Humane Society (BENCHS) was established in 1969. Each year, BENCHS cares for hundreds of homeless, injured, abandoned, and abused animals.
BENCHS is a nonprofit organization and does not receive funding or support from national animal welfare or humane associations. The shelter operates with limited paid staff, and relies on the generosity of donors and volunteers to maintain quality care for the pets it accepts and places.
BENCHS accepts animals from Blue Earth and Nicollet counties in southern Minnesota. Every month, about 50 animals are brought to the shelter. BENCHS is a no-kill shelter. We treat and care for all animals until they are adopted.
The Blue Earth Nicollet County Humane Society is not only about caring for animals, but also about humanity. The love and comfort of a pet sustains a person through the most difficult of times, providing unconditional friendship and love. Properly caring for a pet instills in children a sense of responsibility and compassion which remains throughout their lives. The services of an animal shelter reach all segments of society, from the wealthy to the destitute, from preschoolers to the retired, and those who are shut in.
Like many non-profits, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to BENCHS. We are still open, bringing homeless animals into the shelter, caring for them, and working to place them in their forever homes. However, our adoption rates have drastically slowed down, while at the same time our ability to raise funds has all but stopped.
Now more than ever, we need our community to rally around the work we do at BENCHS.
