Upcountry Waimea on Hawaii Island is a community of great beauty, diverse resources and a rich cultural heritage. But there exists a huge economic and technology gap. This is the story of Waimea Middle School and it has been exacerbated by the pandemic. What the pandemic has not changed is our commitment to doing what is best for our middle school adolescents.

This is Waimea Middle School's not-for-profit Local School Board, which assists and guides in school leadership and governance.
