Dezigns by Kamohoalii clothing company - based on the Island of Hawaii‘i - is the genius of Waimea Kumu Hula Micah Kamohoalii who started the line in 2005 to share foundational values of Hawaiian culture through art and design.  His line of clothing strives to educate with Hawaiian metaphoric imagery, cultural significance and symbolism - to tell our stories! 

Proudly a Waimea School alumni, Kumu Hula Kamohoalii’s passion for art led him into graphic design, and his family’s legacy in Hawaiian kapa led him into fashion.  While merging these two elements, the birthing of this company began, featuring layers of ike kuuna, or traditional Hawaiian knowledge imbedded in each design and inspired by his family’s mastery skills in working with kapa, ohe kapala and kakau.
