Be sure you're registered and have entered a credit card number or you won't be able to place a bid.  Work out your bidding strategy.  Set your bids if you have a top bid in mind.

Consider using auto bidding to set your maximum bid so the system will bid for you if you are not available at the close at 7:00 p.m. or if you're in competition for an item. There will be no extended bidding in this auction. Item bidding will close promptly at 7:00 p.m. Pre-setting your bid may help you win in a tie situation.
