The beautiful Carlson Orchards sit on 100 acres high on a hill top in Harvard, MA.  Founded in 1936, this family enterprise grows apples, peaches, nectarines, blueberries, cherries, and raspberries. A retail store sells a variety of apple products and grocery items.  Pick your own is available in season.

The newest addition to enjoying a day at the orchard is The Cider Barn.  The huge but cozy big red barn serves 10 varieties of hard cider made from the orchard's own apples, as well as non-alcholic hot and cold apple and other beverages.  If you are in the mood for food try one of the many pizza creations, from plain cheese to The Big Apple Pizza with apples and brie cheese.  The Cider Barn is open Thursday through Saturday 11 - 8, and Sunday 11 - 6.  In season there is outdoor dining, food trucks, and live music.
