Description

A "married" piece is one that combines two or more parts from separate pieces. A highboy is a tall chest of drawers usually made in two separate pieces. Therefore, here we have a married highboy in the Queen Anne style with the cabriole legs and padded feet. 


This highboy is of New England origin and made of solid maple. with brass hardware.  The exact provenance and age is not known. The highboy is in excellent antique condition and suitable for use.


Dimensions:  36" wide x 20" deep x 60" high.

If not attending the gala winning bidder may pickup this item at the NRWA River Resource Center at 592 Main Street in Groton the first week in May.  Shipping not available.
