Description
America’s Cup is a Love Song to Sailing… the Quest for perfect Wind, the Thrill of Keeling, the Utter Joy of Winning.
My father moored a Ketch in Manchester Harbor, MA where I learned to love sailing at two years old… no life jacket, holding onto the bow for Dear Life, squealing with fear and laughter. Those summers, sailing out of Annisquam Yacht Club, racing against clubs in Marblehead & Boston, remain the happiest years of my life.
And now, Homeless, I still get to experience the excitement of sailing.. albeit vicariously, watching the Bermuda Race, and all the local Newport Weekend Regattas with precious children of the sea, always evoking my own sweet childhood sailing memories.
