Hooshang Khorasani is an internationally exhibited artist with working studios in Ruston, LA, and Orange County, CA. His background includes a BFA in painting, plus twelve years as an award-winning graphic designer/illustrator. His art career began at age seven when a newspaper published one of his drawings. Enrollment in an arts-centered high school followed, then college. He has been self-employed since 1984. His paintings are displayed in private collections across the US as well as in corporate collections; are included in permanent museum collections; and have been shown in numerous galleries.
"Fireworks" is part of a series that was recently created by the artist, celebrating the fireworks that are often associated with holidays. Part of his inspiration is an annual summer fireworks display in his current hometown that takes place on his birthday. Other inspiration comes from New Year's celebrations. The brightness and color, plus the immediacy of each event, lights up his imagination.
Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th, AT 5PM.
Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 1st. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than October 29th, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.

Special Instructions
A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th – 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
