20" x 16" x 1"
After a successful career of working closely with designers, Bill Clark keeps his studio outside of Providence, RI, where he works as a professional photographer and calligrapher. While having traveled extensively for work and pleasure, he has found that his most intriguing subjects are within a five-mile radius of his home.
"Garden Meditation" is part of an ongoing series of images that explores the complexity and mystery of nature. Spending time in a peaceful garden allows the artist to see the world from a different perspective. Clark seeks to capture this view by photographing the vegetation in his backyard with respect and curiosity, working to capture unique forms and patterns as the light and shadows change throughout the day. He retreats from this refuge calmer and quieter each time he visits.
