Cathy Chin studied painting at RISD and then transferred to RIT to study Illustration and Printmaking. She holds a BFA degree from RIT. She painted in watercolor for many years and was a signature member of the NE Watercolor Society. She has returned to oil and acrylic painting in recent years. Her work can be viewed on Instagram @realandplastic.


"Low Tide Geese" was painted from photo references taken near Sabin Point on the Providence River. The color used was limited to largely yellow and blue.


Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th, AT 5PM.


Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 1st. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than October 29th, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.


 The Bidding Increments are as follows:


    $1-99, the bidding increment is $5 


   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10


   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20 


   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50 


   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100


Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th – 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
