Terry Van Heusen is a RI artist working from her home studio in Cranston. Her BFA in Illustration from RISD lead to a love of figurative and narrative art. Now retired, she primarily works in low fire ceramic clay, the surfaces colored with acrylic paints. She is a member of the Providence Art Club, South County Art Association and the AAM.

"Angel Wings" is a clay relief from a series of figurative work created in 2024 accented with metallic acrylic paints. It was inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite art of Dante Gabriel Rossetti and vibrant stained glass church windows.
