Karen Reid has an extensive background in fine arts, with a substantial education from several prestigious institutions. She attended The Art Institute of Boston, The South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA, Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA, Danforth Museum in Framingham, MA, and earned her diploma in Fine Arts from the SMFA in Boston, MA. She exhibits in New England and has recognition in Art New England, Page Magazine, Worcester Magazine and The Putnam Villager.


"Tranquility Bay" is part of a two piece series of small paintings that Reid created. Her inspiration was a poetic moment in a dream that she had. Reid was immersed in vivid colors and had the feeling of peace and calmness.

Special Instructions

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.


 The Bidding Increments are as follows:


    $1-99, the bidding increment is $5 


   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10


   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20 


   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50 


   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100


Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th – 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
