Like most creative people, Ken Moran has worked in a variety of professional jobs. Creatively, he has worked in a variety of mediums and genres. He is now a retired art teacher and freelance photographer. He has earned two Bachelor's degrees, one from Buffalo State another from RIC, and a Master's degree from RISD.
Moran's favorite activity is photographing flowers in his studio. He finds the diversity of shape, structure, color, textures, patterns, size, and overall design of plants and flowers fascinating. Nature is truly the most amazing designer. When Moran's not trying to bring out the uniqueness in each of his subjects with a single image, he's combing his own images to create a reference and comparison.
