Carla Carey, an accomplished artist and former artistic director of Hunakai Fine Arts Studio in Foxboro was a mainstay of art education in the area for many years before her retirement and relocation to northern New England. She is skilled in many art forms and mediums and continues to express her artistic endeavors in her new locale of Bennington, VT.

"Travelogue" is a watercolor painting inspired by the artist's travels in Asia; imagining the thoughtfulness of a seasoned traveler as she reviews photos, travel mementos and handwritten notations over a cup of coffee. One can appreciate the mood of contemplation and satisfaction following such immersive travel experiences.
