Reverse painting on glass

A self-taught artist, Kevin Grady focuses on transforming discarded, everyday objects into unique art. His work has been included in numerous shows and collaborations, as well as being selected for Attleboro's "Think Outside the Box" utility box project. His belief is that art can breathe new life into the commonplace, a philosophy that guides his approach to repurposing materials. His recent pieces, featuring antique windows as canvases, exemplify his commitment to recycling and repurposing.
"Just a Sin Away" is a reverse painting on glass, using acrylics, spray paint and markers on an antique window. The artist is often inspired by music, and this piece is based on The Kendalls song "Heaven's Just a Sin Away." Grady hopes the bright colors and playful approach provide a fun narrative, and perhaps ask the viewer, "how can heaven be just a sin away?"
