Alison M. Plump is a visual artist and educator in RI. She received her BFA in Painting from RISD and her MFA from the University of PA. Her work focuses on translucency, transparency, the elements of the body and nature, and uses a variety of media to build up surfaces and images. The work is often pulled apart, rearranged, reimagined, and then sewn into new configurations. The work is diaristic in nature, often including bits of text and writing.

Special Instructions

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.


 The Bidding Increments are as follows:


   $1-99, the bidding increment is $5


   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10


   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20


   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50


   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100


Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th – 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
