Part 2: Shark Week + Women's Dive Day (H2O Planet + Enfield Scuba)
Wow! We had the most "JAWSOME" response to our first "Shark Week Online Auction"! (There's just "SOME-FIN" about SHARKS that everyone loves.) Bids rolled in like the waves... with 321 Total Bids... and 56 Prizes.... awarded to enthusiastic Bidders!
It sounds like our Community is "hooked" on the fun of Online Auctions. And then... we had a BIGGER surprise... as Donors and Divers sent us MORE NEW PRIZES.... and asked us to keep the Auction Fun going for another week.
So... by popular request.... we've now created "Shark Auction, PART 2". (Just like "Shark WEEK" has extended worldwide to "Shark MONTH"..... "Shark Auction, PART 1" has expanded to "Shark Auction, PART 2" (and we've added lots of NEW and DIFFERENT PRIZES into Shark Auction #2). Everyone is so excited!
Congratulations to our Big "Auction #1" Winners! Auction #1 closed 7/22 (and all prizes were awarded) - but "Auction #2" re-opened 7/23 (with additional new prizes). It will run through July 31 (9pm), in alignment with the BAHAMAS and GRAND CAYMAN Trip Raffles. Winners included Grant (earning the Belize Blackbird's Caye Trip (which had 25 competitive bids) and Teren (who won Philippines Atlantis). Natalie earned the new Scuba Pro Regulator (our most popular item, with 34 Bids) and Jim and John won the Underwater Metal Detectors. Rob will enjoy a new Dive Computer and Air Fill Cards, Sally has two soft Shark/Turtle Blankets, Dawn will enjoy the Antique Shelf, and Patricia won several adorable Fish Towels. Well done!

For each $20 increment donated during Shark Month (through 7/31/25, at 9pm), you'll receive 1 Entry (for each $20 value) to travel to GRAND CAYMAN (Sunset House, 3 Days) or BAHAMAS (All-Star Liveaboard Blackbeards Cruises (or Cat Ppalu, 7 days). (We also included Trips to Philippines Atlantis and Blackbirds Caye Belize (which were awarded in Auction Part 1). Each $20 Donation Increment earns an ADDITIONAL Raffle Ticket Entry. (So if you donate $20, you'll receive 1 "Trip Raffle Entry"... $40 gets "2 Trip Entries"... $80 gets 4, etc). No additional purchase is required. Thanks for supporting H2O Planet. Our Nonprofit Charity focuses on Community Improvement, Ocean Conservation, and At-Risk Youth (supporting underserved populations which are economically, racially, or academically diverse). Volunteer Scuba Divers train Emergency First Responders, participate in Underwater Trash Clean-ups, teach Inner-City children to swim, and protect Endangered Marine Life. It was fun seeing everyone at our "Women's Dive Day + Shark Week Party" in Enfield on Saturday, July 19 - and we're excited to meet all the WINNERS of our "Shark Month" Charity Auctions.
