In 2020, Leigh experienced a severe traumatic brain injury, and her future seemed uncertain, at best. Determined to support her recovery, we explored every available resource, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, attending sessions three days a week for nearly a year.
However, as Leigh's progress plateaued, her therapists made the difficult decision to discharge her and suggested recreational therapy as an alternative. That's when Bit-by-Bit came into our lives.
