Description

This bullet and cartridge case are an authentic .38 special caliber bullet shot from The Most Famous Gun in the World, the Jack Ruby .38 Colt bearing serial number 2744. One bullet from this gun changed the course of history on November 24, 1963 when Jack Ruby used it to slay Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin of President John F. Kennedy. Oswalds dramatic death locked the door to the truth surrounding President Kennedys death . . . but unveiled the ever-changing theories of conspiracytheories that have yet to be challenged by even those most visibly identified with this tragic and most dramatic event in history. This framed commemoration includes a photograph from the televised assassination of Oswald, a picture of the gun with its evidence tag attached, a certificate of authenticity and a bullet and cartridge actually shot from the Most Famous Gun in the World. The owner of the Ruby gun produces these commemorations only on rare occasions and generously provided one in order to support the work of Bit-By-Bit and the Wild West Night.
