For half a century, the Tampa Bay Times Newspaper in Education program (NIE) has served teachers, students and families by providing classroom access to the Pulitzer Prize-winning Tampa Bay Times plus award-winning curriculum supplements, lesson plans, teacher guides, educator workshops and many more resources, all at no cost to schools, teachers or families.

One hundred percent of funds raised through eBuy for Education 2025 will be used to provide newspapers and other instructional materials to Tampa Bay-area classrooms at no cost to schools, teachers or families.

NIE is a member of Florida Press Educational Services (FPES), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of newspaper professionals that promotes literacy and critical thinking, particularly for young people.
