Make Your Bid to Support the Jefferson County Schools Education Foundation!

Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and mission.

As in most public school districts, some of the best student enrichment programs and professional development for teachers and principals are beyond the reach of already strapped budgets. In 1992, the Jefferson County Schools Education Foundation was created to work alongside the direction of the Jefferson County School District to enhance financial resources and expand classroom experiences in our schools.

Led by community volunteers until staffed by an executive director in 1999, the Foundation has supported 31 programs in the past 26 years. Three of those programs have been shared over that time with all 13 public school districts in geographical Jefferson County, Alabama.
