Starting Over Airedale Rescue (SOAR) is running an online auction fundraiser.
Starting on October 17, 2025, at 8:00 am EDT, Starting Over Airedale Rescue (SOAR) is auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization.
Again, the money raised will go to the Diana Muldaur Fund to offset unexpected veterinary expenses, as in Dan's story. Dan is pictured in our Falling for Airedale Rescue Auction banner.
Dan was a sad little boy when he came into rescue. His owner had passed away, and he was being picked on by other dogs in the household. He needed medical attention for his wounds, plus he was heartworm positive. Once in rescue, he received everything needed to fix what had happened to him, and he got a nice bath and groom. Even so, he seemed broken and took a little time to learn that he could be loved.
Fast forward to now. Dan has a new life with a great family who loves him to pieces. His new name is Lincoln, and hopefully his old life will be nothing more than a distant memory from here on. It took a village to help Dan get on the road to recovery…but this is what we do best.
