Santa Barbara Revels presents innovative presentations, and the proceeds from our Fall Auction support this programming. Our calendar of performances and activities includes: a Pub Sing in March to mark the Spring Equinox, a May Day celebration, a Fall Equinox Concert in September, a Harbor Sing in October, and a fully staged theatrical performance in December to celebrate the Winter Solstice. We believe that more than ever, people want to join together to share and enjoy a sense of community. We need your support to do this!
In particular, your participation in our auction will help make possible this year's award-winning theatrical production, The Christmas Revels: The Celestial Fools ~ A Magical Winter's Tale, in which mystical visitors from the East - the Sun, Moon, and Stars - visit a mythical village somewhere in Europe, bringing vibrant color, music, and story along with a glimpse of life and a world view unimagined by the simple folks. Every year, our Winter Solstice show changes locales and time periods, but it retains traditional elements that audiences look forward to seeing in each presentation. It has become a favorite holiday tradition in the wider Santa Barbara area, and we know that folks will be ready and eager to experience our offering this December.
