Why should I participate in this auction? What am I supporting?

Supporting these scholarships is not just about financial aid; it’s about shaping the future workforce, fostering innovation, and ensuring that the industry remains vibrant and resilient. By contributing to the ABAF Scholarship Fund, donors help aspiring professionals access education and training, ultimately strengthening the industry.

The ABAF scholarship program is designed to support students pursuing degrees that align with the motorcoach and group travel sectors. Whether it’s future motorcoach operators, tour planners, or hospitality professionals, these scholarships provide the resources needed to develop a skilled and passionate workforce. The financial assistance helps reduce barriers to education, ensuring that talent—not financial means—determines who enters the industry.

Moreover, these scholarships serve as an investment in the future of travel and tourism. The industry is undergoing significant change, with new technologies, sustainability initiatives, and evolving consumer preferences reshaping people’s travel. By funding scholarships, donors actively prepare the next generation to navigate these shifts and drive industry growth.

All proceeds will go towards funding the 21 available scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications for these scholarships are already open.
