The Women's Fund of Miami-Dade is a catalyst for social change and economic justice with the goal of creating a community where all women and girls reach their full potential. Ourgrant making, along with advocacy, training and community building are the key elements used to achieve this goal. Through the years, our work has focused on the indisputable connection between poverty, low self-esteem, inadequate healthcare, job access, domestic violence, sexual assault... and being female. To address these inadequacies we fund innovative programs that are preventative, confront discrimination, promote leadership and foster economic self-sufficiency.
