This is the Thoreau text of the authoritative edition, ed. Joseph J. Moldenhauer, Princeton University Press, 1972. The "Illustrated" edition lacks the big scholarly apparatus of the 1972 volume, but has a new introduction written by Moldenhauer.
It is al long, horizontal-format ("landscape" rather than "portrait") book, with two text pages side by side per page. The text is from the same plates as the 1972 edition.
