Adventure in Walden Woods donated by Juliet Wheeler and Ken Turkington

We will lead a walk from the Walden Pond parking area past Throeau's hut site and follow his footsteps to the shores of Fairhaven Bay where we will embark by canoe to the island in the bay for a picnic lunch. Learn about the history of the Wright Woods and identifying the trees and plants we encounter. We can accomodate two to five people.
