The Hearts Unleashed auction was made possible through the compassion and commitment of numerous animal loving volunteers and donors. We are overjoyed by the participation of our community.
With each donation, and every bid, we were again reminded that we are not alone in our efforts to react to animal cruelty, prevent unwanted litters and educate the public. We were reminded that we live in a community that cares for the weak and is concerned for the homeless. Together we can, and are, making a difference in the quality-of-life of our community's animals.

The Louisiana SPCA is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and to the promotion of respect and humane care for animals.
We are committed to:
1) Providing shelter for stray, homeless and unwanted animals, promoting the adoption of animals, and seeking to reunite lost pets and their owners; 2) Promoting and supporting positions that have a positive impact on the quality of life for animals; 3) Educating the public regarding responsible pet ownership and respect for animal life; 4) Securing basic medical services for animals in need.
