Founded in 1993, the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) is the premier networking organization for women building and leading high-growth companies, primarily in technology and life sciences. FWE's mission is to accelerate women's opportunities to start, manage and invest in market-leading companies by providing its members with powerful access to powerful networks. FWE is headquartered in the Bay Area and has affiliates in Seattle, Southern California, Canada and France. From 1999 through 2003, FWE members raised over $1.5 billion for their businesses nationwide, started 200+ companies, and created nearly 3000 jobs.

OUR AUCTION

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:
To participate in the auction, you must be a member in good standing or join on or before June 15 to participate.

• Create a promo package about you and your company, what you provide and what kind of clients you are looking for.
  • One paragraph company background
  • Your bio -- brief
  • A sample of your service or product
    • Two hours of PR consulting time, value of $150
    • One press release value of $150
• Email package to nikki@fwesc.org or jnana@fwe.org
• Bidding starts at $25.00
• Increments are a minimum of $2.00
• Each person bidding will submit a name and contact information
• Every person that bids on your package will be forwarded to you as a lead -- someone interested in your services/product
• The auction starts online on June 10, and allows current FWE members to share their products and services with all of FWE Southern California.

During the mixer, those members auctioning items will be able to promote their business services. Final bidding ends at 8:30 p.m. on July 1, and winners will be posted on the Web site and sent via FWETalk within the week.

If you're participating in the auction, and if you make your donation before June 18, you'll be included in an auction hand out that will be available at the mixer. Please remember to bring your literature, cards and any samples.

If you bring a friend, he or she can join that night and be eligible to bid at the auction. As an additional incentive, FWE membership will be discounted by $50.00 for just that night a savings of 25% for service providers and 33% for entrepreneurs.

All contributions will benefit The Forum For Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) and you can choose to designate payment be delivered to The OC/LA Chapter or San Diego Chapter, (after expenses of course).
