It's the Morning Buzz's 14th Annual Lend a Helping Can fundraiser! ! Once again we'll be doing the 48 hour broadcast marathon- on Rock 101, WHEB, WMXR, and WVRR- featuring an on-air auction, an on-line auction, and live appearances. Our partners- since the beginning -- will be Samuel Adams and Market Basket stores. At the conclusion of the marathon- we will exchange every penny we collect for grocery certificates. Last year we raised just over $50,000.00 and sent out 11 packages with over $4000 in gift certificates to agencies throughout the state. This year we hope to at least duplicate that amount. The "Lend a Helping Can" on-air auction will include all kinds of autographed rock and roll memorabilia, sports packages, trips, and some very cool things! We partner each year with Samuel Adams Beer and Market Basket Stores -- and together with you -- help to feed NH's needy and homeless!
